centrix® scissor evolution
When a customer purchases a shear from us they become a customer for life. Their satisfaction with our products’ performance, design, quality, and service is our ultimate goal.
Our shears are designed with ergonomics and versatility in mind. Cutting, blending, and texturizing all become simplified when a stylist uses our shears. Centrix® offers a lifetime warranty against any or all manufacturer defects with our shears. We have an in-house service center with expert craftsmen who sharpen, service, and refurbish a stylist’s shears for as long as they own them.
The best things are never simple, and high quality hair cutting shears are no exception. The sequence below details the steps a Centrix® forged shear goes through before it enters our rigorous seven-step quality control process. |

CENTRIX® CRYOGENICSCryogenically treating our V2™, Q Series, C2™, and CENTRIX® lines of professional shears increases wear resistance and extends blade life up to 400%. Step 1: The molecules in untreated steel are spaced randomly which cause weak spots in the metal. Step 2: Cryogenic tempering at 400° below zero causes the steel molecules to move together, thereby eliminating the random space. Step 3: The highly controlled environment of the cryogenic chamber slowly brings the metal back to room temperature creating a more organized, dramatically stronger molecular structure. |
